CodeCorrect from GroupOne is a web-based application that helps medical billing professionals quickly and cost effectively find and select appropriate CPT, ICD-9 and HCPCS codes, check allowed amounts, bundling information and stay current with constant HCFA changes.
"CodeCorrect is the first online encoder that I've used that also offers Correct Coding Initiative features (e.g., bundling of codes) - essential in today's health insurance processing arena. The software is accessible from any computer because of the login feature - no more lugging a computer from site to site just make sure there's a computer available to you. Login to CodeCorrect and you're good to go...."

Online Reference Books - This is an online collection of all necessary reference books, including: CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS, RVU's, CCI, Modifiers, National Crosswalk, LMRP, and E&M documentation requirements. Unlike paper, you can rapidly search these reference books by CPT.
National and Regional Authoritative Document Updates - Access the last five years of Medicare Newsletters and Medicare Carrier bulletins indexed by CPT for your specific geographic region.
Online Code Check validation tool - This tool helps coders 'scrub' charge slips to increase compliance. Includes: proper modifier usage, orders procedures by RVU for maximum reimbursement, checks bundling errors and verifies proper ICD-9 by region based on Local Medical Review Policy (LMRP).
Online Coding Q&A - Submit coding questions and receive answers from our staff of certified coders. Also access the knowledge base of all previously posted questions and answers searchable by keyword and time period.
Web-based Access - Web-based means you can access the information using any Internet-ready PC in your facility, concurrently with other users, and updates to the data and applications are virtually immediate.
Training - Each client receives training by an experienced trainer at start-up. Additionally, CodeCorrect provides ongoing training sessions once a week so that new employees and even super users may get a refresher or learn something new.
Customer Support - Whether you have a question about the application or recommendations on how to improve and enhance a CodeCorrect service, you may call and speak directly to a customer support representative, Monday through Friday from 7-5PM Pacific Time. Similarly, you may e-mail your questions anytime though responses are generated during normal business hours. |

"CodeCorrect is the answer to all your books, including your Correct Coding Initiative, any subscriptions to Medicare Carriers Manual, program memorandum, LMRP's, Federal Register, CPT Assistant and more.
CodeCorrect is an encoder for CPT and ICD-9 but it is so much more. You can look up the codes by key words, you can look up by ranges and you can create your own custom key words, to direct your staff to the same set of codes every time when doctor uses his/her pet names. For example, when my doctor says 'portacath' he is referring to either 36533, 36534 or 36535. So I have custom keyword of portacath point to those three codes, so when my staff put in his words, they get those three codes and then know which to select depending on whether it is an insertion, revision or removal. And as CPT is updated, revised and changed, your keywords stay in the system. My old stand-alone encoder lost my keywords that I took so much time to set up and lost them every time I had an update. Talk about wanting to punch someone's lights out...
And you can put comments on codes that are only yours, such as putting in a comment to use G0001 for Medicare under 36415 for your staff. Or that such and such payer does not accept this code and wants you to use another code, or make sure you use such and thus modifier when this code is used with blah and blah code, etc. These notes are custom to you and again, stay there for you whenever you need them, whenever you need to update or change them, they are yours."
